Ingredients
- 4 small croissants
- 12 tablespoons chocolate chip cookie dough (approximately 3/4 cup, see note)
- Slice the Croissants: Using a serrated knife, carefully slice each croissant open horizontally without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket for the filling.
- Fill with Cookie Dough: Scoop out 2 tablespoons of chocolate chip cookie dough per croissant, slightly flatten it, and press it firmly into the inside of each croissant.
- Close the Croissants: Place the top half of the croissant back over the cookie dough, sealing the filling inside gently.
- Top with Cookie Dough: Take the remaining cookie dough, scoop 1 tablespoon per croissant, flatten it slightly, and place it on top of each closed croissant.
- Air Fry the Crookies: Arrange the stuffed croissants in a single layer in your air fryer basket and air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes until the croissants are golden and the cookie dough is slightly melted.
- Rest and Serve: Carefully remove the crookies from the air fryer and let them set for 5 minutes to firm up before serving warm.

- For best results, use refrigerated or slightly chilled chocolate chip cookie dough to avoid melting too quickly during air frying.
- If croissants are larger, adjust cookie dough quantity accordingly.
