Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 4 tablespoons chocolate spread

Instructions

  1. Prep the Puff Pastry: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into squares, approximately 4×4 inches each.
  2. Fill with Chocolate: Place about 1 tablespoon of chocolate spread in the center of each puff pastry square, spreading it slightly but leaving the edges free.
  3. Seal the Pastry: Fold each square over to form a triangle or rectangle and press the edges firmly with a fork to seal the chocolate inside.
  4. Bake: Transfer the prepared pastries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden, flaky, and puffed up.
  5. Cool and Serve: Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving to enjoy the melty chocolate center safely.

Notes

  • For an extra glossy finish, brush the pastries with an egg wash before baking.
  • You can use Nutella or any other chocolate hazelnut spread as a substitute.
  • Serve warm for the best melty chocolate experience.
  • If you like, add a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top before serving for decoration.
