Brownie Layer
- 1 batch brownie mix (prepared according to package instructions)
Cookie Dough Layer
- 1 batch chocolate chip cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)
Toppings
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- Prepare Brownie Batter: Follow the brownie mix package instructions to prepare the brownie batter. Pour the batter evenly into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Add Cookie Dough Layer: Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough evenly over the brownie batter. Gently spread or pat the cookie dough to cover the brownie batter as much as possible.
- Add Chocolate and Marshmallows: Sprinkle chocolate chips or chopped chocolate evenly over the layered batter. Then evenly distribute mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate layer.
- Bake: Place the pan in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm for gooey marshmallow texture and melty chocolate.
