These 2 Ingredient Bread Bites are a quick and easy snack made with just self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt. Coated in a spicy, garlicky mix and air fried to golden perfection, they’re perfect for a flavorful bite-sized treat served with a creamy sriracha mayo dip.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough

  • 200 g self-raising flour
  • 100 g Greek yoghurt

Spicy Garlicky Coating

  • 1 tbsp chilli flakes (preferably gochugaru)
  • 1 tbsp garlic flakes or granules
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Dipping Sauce

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: In a bowl, combine the self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt. Mix with a spoon until a rough dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for a couple of minutes until soft and bouncy. Add more flour if the dough is sticky. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the coating: While the dough rests, mix together the chilli flakes, garlic flakes or granules, sea salt, sugar, and black pepper on a plate or shallow bowl to create the spicy garlicky coating.
  3. Shape and coat the bread bites: Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball. Roll each ball in the spicy garlicky mixture until fully coated. Repeat for all pieces.
  4. Air fry the bread bites: Place the coated bread bites in the air fryer basket and cook at 180°C (356°F) for 8 minutes or until they are golden and cooked through.
  5. Prepare the dipping sauce: While the bread bites cook, combine the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
  6. Serve: Remove the bread bites from the air fryer. Serve immediately with the sriracha mayo dipping sauce and enjoy your delicious snack.

Notes

  • You can adjust the chilli flakes quantity depending on your spice tolerance.
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, bake the bread bites in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for approximately 12-15 minutes until golden.
  • For a gluten-free version, substitute self-raising flour with a gluten-free self-raising flour blend.
  • The dough should be soft but not overly sticky; add flour sparingly to avoid dryness.
  • This recipe is great for quick afternoon snacks or party appetizers.
