Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder
  • ¾ cup oat flour (or finely ground oats)
  • ¼ cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Optional Coating

  • Pink/red sprinkles or extra crushed strawberries

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine the vanilla protein powder, oat flour, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir them together to evenly distribute all dry components.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Add the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and honey or maple syrup to the dry mix.
  3. Mix well: Stir the mixture until it forms a thick, dough-like consistency. If the mixture feels too dry, gradually add 1 teaspoon of milk at a time until desired texture is reached.
  4. Roll: Scoop out portions of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls using your hands.
  5. Coat (optional): Roll each protein ball in pink/red sprinkles or extra crushed freeze-dried strawberries for an attractive finish and added flavor.
  6. Chill: Place the protein balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up and set properly.
  7. Enjoy & store: Once chilled, enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • For oat flour, you can simply grind rolled oats in a food processor until fine.
  • Use plain Greek yogurt for less sweetness or vanilla Greek yogurt for added flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by changing the amount of honey or maple syrup as desired.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese and Greek yogurt with plant-based alternatives.
  • If mixture is too sticky to handle, refrigerate for a few minutes before rolling.
  • Freeze extra protein balls for longer storage; thaw before eating.
