Ingredients

Scale

Fruit

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 2 cups seedless watermelon, cubed

Liquids

  • 2 cups cold water

Sweetener

  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash and hull the strawberries, then cube the watermelon into small pieces for easier blending.
  2. Blend the ingredients: In a blender, combine the strawberries, watermelon, water, and sweetener. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture (optional): Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp for a smoother drink. Use a spoon to press the pulp to extract more juice.
  4. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the agua fresca for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice. Stir before serving.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar or honey, or substitute with a natural sweetener of your choice.
  • For a fizzy version, replace some water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • If you prefer, leave the pulp in for a thicker texture and more fiber.
  • This recipe serves about 3 to 4 people as a refreshing drink.
